Pak-Turk-Iran Enterprenureship Nexus proposed at ST+ Mashad.
Firdosi University Mashad Iran hosted Entrepreneurship 2017, a unique event of its kind ever attended by Prof M Subhan Qureshi, Chief Patron DSP. The event was organized by Science Tech +, Code, Khorasan Science and Technology Park and other organizations. The soft spoken Mayor of Mashad, Head of Khorasan Science and Technology Park and senior Academicians from Iran and abroad shared their wisdom openly with the participants.
Surprisingly the focus of the event were the young primary school kids and young growing graduates, trying to find a graceful place in the Society through Entrepreneurship Development and not to bag for employment and financial support. They presented innovative ideas and got awards purely on merit, decided through collective wisdom of the participants, via online voting in the sweet Persian language.
The architect of the idea and Principal Organizer of the event and my brother, Dr Irfan Maqsood, sharing name with my son, Engr Irfan, was seen without any worries on his face, because he was harvesting the fruits of his hard work on young man and women, who played their assigned roles in making the event a success.
Prof Qureshi returned back from Mashad with high spirit and motivations developed during Science Tech + 2017. The Iranian press has covered the event extensively. The future road map of Dairy Science Science Park was discussed the Dr Irfan Maqsood and other executives of ST+ and the political and academic leadership and senior officers of the Pakistan Consulate at Mashad. DSP has signed an MoU with Konya Teknokent, Turkey for Academia-Industry Linkages and a similar arrangements will be finalized with ST+ shortly.
